Court hearing in Upper Lavra case postponed again
The next hearing in the Upper Lavra case will take place on March 19, 2026.
On March 12, 2026, a hearing was held at the Northern Commercial Court of Appeals in Kiev regarding the lawsuit by the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Monastery of the UOC for access to the Upper Lavra churches. As reported by the monastery's lawyer, Archpriest Nikita Chekman, the hearing was postponed for a week.
The next hearing will take place on March 19, 2026.
As a reminder, the hearings for the right of the Lavra brotherhood to use the Refectory and Dormition Churches have been ongoing since 2023.
