Didukh solemnly burned on the New Style Epiphany in Kyiv
Shortly before the burning of the didukh, the OCU "hierarch" performed a "blessing" of the Dnieper water near it.
On January 6, 2026, a ceremony of burning the didukh was held in Kyiv's Hydropark, reports the «Kyiv24» channel. According to journalists, "this is done after the winter holidays for purification and completion of the winter cycle. Only men have the right to burn the didukh".
Shortly before the burning of the didukh, "Archbishop" Agapit from the OCU conducted a «blessing» of the Dnieper water nearby.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that a 7-meter didukh was installed on Maidan.
