In Hryshyne, Protection Church catches fire after shelling
The fire broke out around 3 a.m.
On October 27, 2025, the press service of the Pokrov Vicariate reported that the Church of the Protection of the Mother of God in the village of Hryshyne caught fire as a result of shelling.
According to the vicariate, the blaze started around three o’clock in the morning. The report did not specify whether there were any casualties or the extent of the damage.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a UOC church in Myrnohrad had also been damaged by shelling.
