Malokaterynivka church in Zaporizhzhia region damaged due to shelling
The Church of Sergius of Radonezh is almost destroyed.
On August 25, 2025, due to Russian shelling, a church was seriously damaged in Malokaterynivka, Zaporizhzhia region.
Its roof and and part of the walls are almost completely destroyed. The website of the Zaporizhzhia Eparchy states that in this settlement there was the UOC Church of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that as a result of hostilities in Ukraine, 700 religious buildings were damaged or completely destroyed, most of which are UOC temples.
