Cherkasy mayor and warden of seized UOC cathedral does not wear cross, photo
Anatoliy Bondarenko, who was elected as church warden of the St. Michael's Cathedral in Cherkasy, seized from the UOC by the OCU, does not wear a pectoral cross.
The Cherkasy Telegram channel News Cherkassy published a photo of the city’s mayor, Anatoliy Bondarenko, without clothes and without a pectoral cross. Previously, Bondarenko had also shared photos of himself where it was clear that he does not wear a pectoral cross.
At the same time, in the OCU, Bondarenko was appointed head of the parish council of the St. Michael's Cathedral, which was seized by radicals who beat UOC clergy and believers.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the mayor of Cherkasy was excommunicated from the Church by Metropolitan Theodosiy.
