UOC faithful in Pohorilivka celebrating Trinity outside church for 3rd year
The parish celebrated the Great Feast in a special room repurposed for services outside the church.
On June 8, 2025, the faithful of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in the village of Pohorilivka celebrated the feast of Pentecost outside their church. This is reported on the Facebook page of the Faithful of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Diocese of the UOC.
The service took place in an adapted room where the community has been praying since 2023, after supporters of the OCU took over their church. It is simply a canopy mounted close to a private house. Despite the difficult conditions, the parishioners together celebrated one of the main church holidays with prayer and hope for the return of their sanctuary.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that in Chernihiv, the authorities allowed the OCU into the Trinity Cathedral taken from the UOC.
