Novynskyi delivers the Holy Fire to Ukraine
A clergyman of the UOC has sent the Holy Fire to Ukraine.
Protodeacon Vadym Novynskyi of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church has sent a lamp containing the Holy Fire from Jerusalem to Ukraine. He announced this on Facebook.
“By God’s mercy, the Holy Fire descended today at the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem! A lamp with this great Holy Light is already on its way to our long-suffering Ukraine – to illuminate our churches and homes with the light of grace, to warm hearts with the fire of faith, and to strengthen hope for peace and God’s mercy,” wrote the clergyman, extending his greetings to the faithful on the approaching Feast of the Bright Resurrection of Christ.
As previously reported by the UOJ, the Holy Fire descended this year at the Church of the Resurrection in Jerusalem.
