The clergyman was abducted by the Territorial Recruitment Center (TRC) staff on February 20 in Kyiv and later taken to the Desna training center.
"Pershyi Kozatskyi" reports that violence was used against Protodeacon Andrii Batsula of the Kyiv Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC) after his abduction by TRC staff.
The clergyman was kidnapped on February 20 in Kyiv and subsequently transported to the Desna training center. For a long time, Father Andrii was out of contact.
According to available information, the protodeacon refused to sign certain documents presented to him by the TRC. In response, he was beaten and pressured to sign.
