The materials include a sample statement, step-by-step filing instructions, a sample postal inventory of enclosed documents and a copy of DESS’s statement of claim. Any Ukrainian citizen who believes the lawsuit poses a threat to their rights and freedoms may submit documents to the court.

“Each person decides independently whether to file the relevant statement, taking into account their own circumstances and the possible impact of the court ruling on their rights, freedoms or legitimate interests,” the attorney stressed.

Around 11,000 applications have now been submitted by citizens seeking to participate in the proceedings as third parties. Sample applications and instructions on how to complete them are available on Archpriest Nikita Chekman’s Telegram channel.

As previously reported by the UOJ, the hearing in the Kyiv Metropolis case was again postponed until October 7, 2026.
