Children’s Sunday School Festival held in Onyshkivtsi

On August 7, 2025, the 19th annual festival for children of Sunday schools was held at the Skete of Righteous Anna in the village of Onyshkivtsi, Rivne region, the Rivne Eparchy press service reported.
The event was traditionally organized by the St. Nicholas Horodok Women’s Monastery. Twenty-four children’s and youth groups from various parishes of the eparchy took part in the celebration.
The festival was opened by Archbishop Pimen of Rivne and Ostroh, who blessed the participants and wished them to grow in faith and love for Christ.
The children performed spiritual hymns, recited poetry, and presented theatrical productions and stories about faith and the Church. At the conclusion of the festival, all participants received commemorative gifts and sweets. The celebration ended with a procession and the erection of a Cross on the hill near the skete.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a nationwide conference for Sunday school teachers was held in Kyiv.
