On April 12, 2025, with the blessing of Metropolitan Agapit of Mohyliv-Podilskyi and Sharhorod, the St. Nicholas parish of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Mohyliv-Podilskyi held a meeting of its religious community, during which it reaffirmed its loyalty to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church under the primacy of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry. This was reported by the eparchy’s press service.
The religious community undertook this action in response to ongoing provocations surrounding St. Nicholas Church in Mohyliv-Podilskyi.
In doing so, the members of the parish community dedicated to St. Nicholas the Wonderworker expressed their unwavering desire to remain within the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that a new UOC church in the Mohyliv-Podilskyi Eparchy was consecrated to replace one seized by the OCU.
