Cabinet keeps gas prices unchanged for religious organizations

The government of Ukraine has decided to keep current natural gas prices in place for heating churches and other needs of religious organizations through the end of the heating season.

The fixed gas price for religious communities from September 1, 2022, through March 31, 2027, is UAH 16,390 per 1,000 cubic meters, including VAT. The natural gas transportation tariff is charged separately.

Naftogaz Trading LLC has been designated as the sole supplier of natural gas to religious organizations nationwide under the public service obligation regime through the end of March 2027. Leaders of religious communities can sign or renew gas supply contracts on the company’s official website.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious Organizations discussed changes to tax legislation with the Ministry of Finance discussed changes to tax legislation with the Ministry of Finance.
