Police search for vandal who defaced Islamic Center in Lviv

Police in the Lviv region have launched an investigation into an act of vandalism involving the defacement of an Islamic Religious and Cultural Center on Vyhovskoho Street, according to the Lviv Regional Police Telegram channel.
On September 26, police received a report through the 102 emergency line that an unidentified individual had spray-painted a swastika on the facade of the religious and cultural center during the night. An investigative team from Police Department No. 1 of Lviv District Police Directorate No. 2, officers from specialized regional police units, and patrol officers responded to the scene.
Police are taking the necessary steps to identify the perpetrator, determine the appropriate legal classification of the offense, and bring the individual to justice.
As the UOJ previously reported, an unidentified individual attempted to set fire to a mosque in Lviv using Molotov cocktails.
