Two UOC eparchies deliver aid to disabled children

Clergy of the Kamianske and Poltava eparchies of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church held charitable events, delivering aid to residents of a children's boarding home and a rehabilitation center, reports the UOC Information Center.

On September 15, the clergy from the city of Kamianske visited the Verkhnodniprovsk children's boarding home. The priests delivered social aid collected by the Kamianske eparchial administration and local clergy.

On September 13, Archpriest Andrii Simon, head of the Social Ministry Department of the Poltava Eparchy, and Priest Serhii Debre, together with volunteers from the Blaho Center, visited the children at the Poltava Social Rehabilitation Center in the village of Mykhailivka. The facility is home to children with complex medical conditions and difficult life circumstances.

The priests prayed with the children, organized educational games, and presented them with food supplies and gifts.

As the UOJ previously reported, the UOC Social Department hosted an event for children from the Kyiv rehabilitation center.
