On August 30 and 31, Orthodox young people from the Rivne Eparchy held a summer gathering on the shore of the Khrinnyky Reservoir, the Rivne Eparchy reports.
Priests of the Mlyniv Deanery invited about 50 young people from local parishes to a scenic spot near the village of Tovpyzhyn. The participants spent two days outdoors. The warm, relaxed atmosphere gave the clergy and young people an opportunity to enjoy friendly conversation and look back on the highlights of the summer.
The organizers prepared group games and activities for the participants, along with tasty food cooked over a campfire. The young men and women reminisced about memorable moments from the summer and relaxed in the company of like-minded friends. Such outdoor gatherings help young church members strengthen friendships, come together in common efforts, and grow in their faith.
As previously reported by the UOJ, the UOC’s Volyn Eparchy opened the “Tabor” youth festival.
