Dumenko presents another order to DESS expert

The head of the OCU Epifaniy Dumenko awarded DESS expert Liudmyla Fylypovych with the Order of the Great Martyr Barbara. The OCU head met with the Doctor of Philosophy at his residence on August 7, 2026, reports the OCU press service.
During the meeting, they discussed the OCU’s role in the life of the Ukrainian people amid Russian aggression and continued cooperation with the academic community. Dumenko congratulated the religious studies scholar on her anniversary and presented her with the order.
This is not the first time DESS expert Fylypovych has been awarded by Dumenko. On August 7, 2025, the OCU leader presented Liudmyla Fylypovych with the Order of Princess Olga. At that time, the sides discussed interfaith dialogue, the structure’s role in preserving national identity, and cooperation between scholars and the organization.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Fylypovych proposed dismantling and relocating UOC churches to Russia.
