New UOC church consecrated in Snovsk, Chernihiv region

In the city of Snovsk, Chernihiv region, a newly built UOC Church of the Pochaiv Icon of the Mother of God has been consecrated, as reported on the Facebook page of the Chernihiv Eparchy.
The rite of the great consecration was performed by Archbishop Nikodym of Liubech, vicar of the Chernihiv Eparchy. Following the consecration, the archpastor officiated at the first Divine Liturgy in the new church.
The UOC hierarch was co-served by the clergy of the parish and the eparchy's priesthood. Numerous parishioners prayed at the service, sharing the joy of this momentous event for the community.
At the conclusion of the service, Archbishop Nikodym congratulated the rector and the faithful on the consecration of the new shrine. In recognition of the efforts made in the construction and beautification of the church, His Grace presented ecclesiastical awards to benefactors and active workers of the parish who made a special contribution to the creation of the new shrine.
As the UOJ reported, the UOC celebrated the feast of the Synaxis of Chernihiv Saints.
