Patriarch Porfirije congratulates UOC Primate on feast of Prince Vladimir

Patriarch Porfirije congratulated the Primate of the UOC on the feast day of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir on behalf of the fullness of the Serbian Church. In his congratulatory message, the Patriarch emphasized the significance of the spiritual choice made by the Baptizer of Rus'.
"Seeking the truth, the God-fearing Prince found Christ, whom, as a most precious pearl, he first placed in the depths of his heart by receiving baptism in His name, and then implanted in the life of his people," reads the congratulatory message of Serbian Patriarch Porfirije.
Patriarch Porfirije also called down God's blessing upon the faithful of the UOC. "May the Lord, through the intercession of Saint Vladimir, strengthen Your Beatitude, the clergy entrusted to you, and your spiritual flock, granting you an abundance of His grace," the Serbian First Hierarch wished Metropolitan Onuphry.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that Patriarch Porfirije congratulated His Beatitude Onuphry on his name day.
