OCU spokesman Yevstratiy Zoria complained to Anglican canon Evans Omollo in Nairobi about religion being turned into an "instrument of hybrid war", reports  the OCU press service.

On this topic OCU spokesman: Claims that UOC has more worshippers are “fake propaganda”

Zoria decided to tell the Anglican canon about the activities of the All-Ukrainian Council of Churches and stated that the rights of believers are being violated in the occupied territories of Ukraine. During the conversation, the OCU representative attempted to present the activities of his organization as an element of protecting “spiritual identity” and stated that Russia uses religion as one of the tools of hybrid warfare.

For his part, cathedral rector Evans Omollo, welcoming the guests on behalf of the Anglican Bishop of Nairobi, expressed support for the Ukrainian people's aspiration to defend their independence. He noted that the Anglican community of the Kenyan capital maintains good relations with the Ukrainian diaspora and regularly participates in joint events.

As the UOJ reported, an OCU delegation arrived in Kenya and condemned the ROC's actions in Africa.
