Street campaign promotes Islam in Dnipro, video shows

On one of the streets of Dnipro, activists are introducing passersby to Islam by offering them a complete Ukrainian translation of the Quran along with additional literature about the religion. A video of the outreach was posted on social media.
In the footage, the preachers explain to passersby that the book they are offering is a complete, unabridged translation of the Quran. They also suggest reading supplementary materials on Islam’s position regarding various aspects of life.
The speakers emphasize that their group includes both ethnic Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars.
Those interested are shown a map with an address where they can continue learning about the Muslim community.
As the UOJ reported, a teacher in Belgium has received threats after converting from Islam to Christianity.
