Primate of Ohrid Archbishopric congratulates Lavra's abbot on name day

The Primate of the Ohrid Archbishopric sent name-day greetings to the abbot of the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra on the feast of the Holy Chief Apostles Peter and Paul.

In his message, the archbishop noted that Metropolitan Pavel embodies the zeal and love of his heavenly patrons in his archpastoral ministry. The head of the Ohrid Archbishopric emphasized the importance of the Lavra abbot sharing all the labors and sorrows of the spiritual flock entrusted to his care.

The hierarch wished Metropolitan Pavel God’s help and the intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos on his further path.

“We pray that the All-Merciful God will strengthen you in soul and body, granting you many more years of episcopal ministry, growth in virtue, steadfastness of will, and constancy in prayer,” the congratulatory message reads.
