St. Sophia of Kyiv Reserve to promote Armed Forces through cultural projects

On June 30, 2026, representatives of the St. Sophia of Kyiv National Reserve and the Media Center of the Ukrainian Ground Forces signed a long-term cooperation agreement in Kyiv. The document was signed by the reserve’s Director General, Nelia Kukovalska, and Taras Tkachenko, head of the Armed Forces’ Information and Communications Support Center.
The parties agreed to organize joint cultural and educational events designed to promote the Armed Forces of Ukraine through historical heritage sites and the arts. The partnership also предусматривает cooperation in preserving the world-renowned cultural monuments that form part of the reserve.
he formalization of the partnership followed the success of the interactive project Call Signs, held in May 2026 at the Metropolitan’s House museum on the reserve’s grounds.
Participants in the initiative said the new agreement would help systematically develop military culture and increase public interest in the activities of Ukraine’s defenders.
As the UOJ reported, monitoring sensors designed to record the impact of missile strikes were recently installed at St. Sophia of Kyiv.
