Odesa Theological Seminary invites to study choral conducting

The Odesa Theological Seminary has announced student enrollment for the Choir Conducting Department, operating at the St. Michael Women's Monastery in Odessa.

As stated in the announcement, students will be taught church singing, reading in Church Slavonic, choir conducting, and liturgical regulations.

The seminary noted that the training is aimed at preparing choir directors and singers for the parishes of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

Nun Ksenia is listed as the secretary of the Choral Conducting Department. The announcement also includes contact phone numbers for applicants: 099 040 69 13, 099 605 49 58, and the address of the educational department: Odesa, Uspenska Street, 4b.

As the UOJ reported, monastic tonsure was performed at St. Michael's Monastery of Odesa.
