Eight Vietnamese residents embrace Orthodoxy in ROC

On March 28, 2026, in the Intercession parish of Ho Chi Minh City, eight people entered Christ's Church through the sacrament of Baptism, reports the Philippine-Vietnamese Eparchy of the Russian Orthodox Church.
The acceptance of Christianity in the Russian Orthodox Church community was preceded by a lengthy period of catechization, during which the future believers deeply studied the dogmas and foundations of church life.
The newly converted received the baptismal names Gabriel, Christopher, Michael, Benjamin, Luke, George, Timothy, and Nicephorus.
The clergy of the Philippine-Vietnamese Eparchy congratulated the neophytes on completing their preparation and beginning their conscious spiritual journey in the bosom of Orthodoxy.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that in a Serbian church in Buenos Aires, 13 Argentinians embraced Orthodoxy.
