UOC-KP reports on health condition of Filaret Denysenko

On March 16, 2026, clerics of St. Volodymyr's Cathedral Borys Tabachek and Ioann of Kyiv visited the head of the UOC-KP Filaret Denysenko, who is currently in a medical facility, as reported on the organization's Facebook page.

According to representatives of the organization, Filaret's health condition has "somewhat improved" recently. It is noted that he is under constant medical supervision and is undergoing routine examination. Borys Tabachek conveyed greetings from parishioners and stated that supporters of the organization "hopefully await the return" of their leader to active work after recovery.

Denysenko thanked everyone for their prayers and "invoked a blessing" upon his followers and the Ukrainian people.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that Filaret was hospitalized.
