On the night of March 13-14, 2026, an explosion occurred at the outer wall of the Jewish school "Cheder" in the southern Amsterdam district of Buitenveldert. Local media "Amsterdam Triangle" reports that no one was injured in the terrorist attack, and the building sustained minor damage.
Firefighters quickly arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire.
According to the publication, there are video recordings of a person who detonated the explosive device.
City Mayor Femke Halsema called it a "cowardly act of aggression against the Jewish community."
Responsibility for the explosion was claimed by the little-known group "Islamic Movement of Right-wing Youth." They published a video of the attack on the school.
It is reported that the same logo appeared in the video of the attack on a synagogue in Rotterdam on March 13. They also claimed responsibility for the terrorist attack against a synagogue in the Belgian city of Liège earlier this week and for some unnamed terrorist attacks against Jews in Greece.
As the UOJ reported, unknown assailants set fire to a synagogue in the Netherlands.
