A court has ordered the return of money taken by OCU activists from the former Metropolitan of Khmelnytskyi, Antoniy (Fialko), during the takeover of the UOC cathedral. This was reported by the Glavcom outlet, citing case materials.

The prosecution had sought to direct the funds toward the needs of the Ukrainian army. However, the court deemed such demands unlawful and ruled that the money must remain in the arrested account pending the completion of all procedural actions.

As previously reported by the UOJ, on April 2, 2023, a crowd seized the Intercession Cathedral in Khmelnytskyi.
