In Butove, OCU supporters hold meeting on UOC parish "transfer"

On February 22, 2026, in the House of Culture of the village of Butove of the Rokytne Deanery, activists of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine held a meeting of residents, at which they "transferred" the St. John's Church of the Rivne Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church to their structure, reports the Telegram channel "Dozor".

"A crowd of several dozen local residents and clerics of the OCU, who have no relation to the religious community of the church, voted for the 'transfer' of the shrine to Epifaniy's structure," the message states.

According to the journalists' information, Dumenko's supporters are already preparing their falsified documents for the upcoming illegal re-registration of the religious community and further seizure of the church.

As the UOJ reported, MP Huz discussed the seizure of the UOC monastery in Myltsi with the Volyn RMA head.
