During the conversation, Albania’s Minister of Education Mirela Kumbaro highlighted the significant role Orthodox schools play in the country’s public life, emphasizing their contribution to the upbringing and education of the younger generation.

The two sides also focused on the work of educational institutions founded by the late Archbishop Anastasios, noting their importance for the intellectual and professional development of students.

According to the Ministry of Education, the discussion centered on issues of education, the transmission of knowledge, vocational training, and support for children, and was described as constructive and productive.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Albanian Church commemorated Archbishop Anastasios on the anniversary of his repose.
