Streets to be closed in Volodymyr over Dumenko's visit

On January 31, 2026, Volodymyr's streets will be partially blocked due to the arrival of OCU leader Serhiy Dumenko in the city, local social networks report.
The city mayor announced that from 7 AM and until the end of the "service" at the Dormition Cathedral seized from the UOC, traffic will be partially restricted from the intersection of Kovelska-Danylo Halytskyi streets to the intersection of Danylo Halytskyi-Soborna.
Additionally, from morning until the completion of the festive liturgy, Soborna Street will be completely closed. Authorities "ask to take into account" this information by residents and business representatives.
Local residents received the information negatively. In comments, they express outrage and bewilderment about why they should endure inconveniences due to Dumenko's visit.
"Careful – the circus is coming, waiting for clowns and spectators!" wrote Vita Sudak.
"Since when do they restrict traffic for the OCU? To zero, where our children are," called Svitlana Belynets.
"Impostor!" wrote Halyna Lenyo.
"When devils are coming, traffic gets restricted," wrote Stepan Zvonar.
Earlier, the UOJ wrote that the Dormition Cathedral in Volodymyr seized from the UOC was transferred by authorities to the balance of the OCU.
