Clergy and laity of Kirovohrad Eparchy become blood donors

On December 16, 2025, the Social Department of the Kirovohrad Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, together with the Red Cross Society of Ukraine, organized a blood donation for those in need. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the UOC Social Department "The Church Helps".

The clergy and laity of the diocese participated in the donor initiative.

As part of the campaign, about 5 liters of blood were collected, which will be transferred to wounded AFU servicemen, as well as other patients of medical institutions.

The Social Department notes that similar donor events are regularly held in other UOC eparchies, in particular, in Zaporizhzhia, Kamianske, Kryvyi Rih, Odesa, Rivne, and several others.

As reported by the UOJ, in Transcarpathia, the UOC conducted charitable actions in support of orphaned children.
