Court to choose preventive measure for Met. Arseniy in Dnipro on December 5

On December 5, 2025, in Dnipro, the case of Metropolitan Arseniy of Sviatohirsk, who has been in custody for more than a year and a half, will continue to be heard. The session of the Chechelivskyi District Court, which began on December 4, was postponed to the next day, reports the press service of the Sviatohirsk Lavra.
The prosecutor's motion to extend the preventive measure in the form of detention is under consideration. The session is scheduled for 10:00 at the address: 77-B, Lesya Ukrainka Avenue, Dnipro.
The monastery notes that the date of the session coincides with the 20th anniversary of Metropolitan Arseniy's episcopal consecration and asks the faithful to pray for Bishop Arseniy and the brethren.
As reported by the UOJ, on December 4, two court hearings in the Metropolitan Arseniy case were held in Dnipro, while the appeal regarding his arrest was postponed again.
