Church in honor of “Unexpected Joy” Theotokos Icon consecrated in Kamianske

On December 2, 2025, in Kamianske, a church dedicated to the Icon of the Mother of God “Unexpected Joy” was consecrated by Metropolitan Volodymyr of Kamianske and Tsarychanka. The event was reported on the Facebook page of the Kamianske Eparchy of the UOC.
After the rite of consecration, the archpastor celebrated the Divine Liturgy, surrounded by the clergy of the city.
During the service, prayers were offered for peace in the Ukrainian land, for the defenders of the Fatherland, and for the Holy Church.
At the conclusion of the Liturgy, Metropolitan Volodymyr addressed the faithful with words of congratulations and pastoral instruction.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that altars were consecrated in churches of the Boryspil and Mukachevo eparchies of the UOC.
