In Stadnyky, Bishop Pimen celebrates Liturgy in front of sealed UOC church

On June 19, 2022, the Sunday of All Saints, Bishop Pimen of Rivne and Ostroh celebrated the Divine Liturgy in front of the sealed Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos in the village of Stadnyky, Rivne region, according to the press service of the Rivne Eparchy.

During the Liturgy, prayers were offered for peace in Ukraine, for the Lord to look with mercy upon the nation and preserve those in despair and those who have lost their homes, and for the Lord to bless people of goodwill who help those in need.

As previously reported, the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos in Stadnyky was sealed by authorities to prevent OCU supporters from seizing the sacred site.

Earlier, the UOJ reported that OCU supporters incited a physical altercation while attempting to take control of the UOC church in Stadnyky.
