Met Feodor consecrates altar in new Ccurch in Kryte village in Zakarpattia

On 16 November 2025, Metropolitan Feodor of Mukachevo and Uzhhorod performed the rite of consecration of a new altar in the Church of the Protection of the Most Holy Theotokos in the village of Kryte, Mukachevo District. The report was published by the Press Service of the Mukachevo Eparchy of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
After the consecration of the altar, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated.
During the service, prayers were offered for peace on Ukrainian soil, for an end to the war, and for the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
After the Liturgy, Metropolitan Feodor addressed the congregation with a sermon. The archpastor expressed heartfelt gratitude to the rector of the church, Archpriest Yevhenii Lomaza, and to all the parishioners for their labours, and invoked God’s blessing upon all those present.
Earlier, UOJ reported that the Metropolitan of Kharkiv had consecrated a church in the village of Krasnopavlivka.
