On November 12, 2025, celebrations were held at the Holy Spirit Cathedral of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Kherson to mark the day of the uncovering of the relics of Saint Eutropia of Kherson. The festive Divine Liturgy was led by Metropolitan John of Kherson and Tavria, reports the eparchial press service.

The archpastor was concelebrated by the clergy of the Kherson Eparchy and the Novovorontsovka Vicariate.

At the end of the service, the clergy and the faithful held a procession around the church, after which Metropolitan John congratulated everyone on the feast day of St. Eutropia.

The hierarch wished that, through the prayers and intercession of the saint, the Lord would help everyone endure the difficult trials that the Kherson region and all of Ukraine are now experiencing.

As reported by the UOJ, on November 12, the faithful in Kharkiv honored the patroness of the region — the Ozerianska Icon of the Mother of God.
