Patriarch Theophilos meets DECR ROC head to discuss inter-Orthodox relations

On October 21, 2025, at the residence of Patriarch Theophilos in Jerusalem, a meeting took place between the Patriarch and representatives of the Moscow Patriarchate’s Department for External Church Relations (DECR), headed by Metropolitan Antoniy of Volokolamsk.

According to the DECR report, “during the conversation, held in a warm and cordial atmosphere, the parties discussed the situation in the Holy Land, current issues of inter-Orthodox and international relations, as well as a wide range of matters of mutual interest.”

Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Primate of the Albanian Orthodox Church had discussed the situation in Ukraine with the DECR ROC Chairman.
