On October 17, 2025, Metropolitan Alexiy of Balta and Ananyiv consecrated the altar in the UOC church dedicated to the Holy Right-Believing Prince Alexander Nevsky in the village of Chehodarivka, Odesa region, reports Andrii Kravchuk on Facebook.
After the rite of consecration, the metropolitan, together with the clergy of the parish and the eparchy, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the church.
At the conclusion of the service, the hierarch offered spiritual guidance to the faithful and congratulated the rector and parishioners on this important event in their lives.
As the UOJ earlier reported, a church in honor of St. Spyridon was recently consecrated at the Tryhirya Monastery in the Zhytomyr region.
