UOC faithful hold procession with prayers for peace around Kotiv village

On October 12, 2025, in the village of Kotiv, Rivne region, believers held a procession for peace and the well-being of the Holy Church. The prayer procession was led by the rector of the Exaltation of the Cross parish, UOC Archpriest Mykola (Systuk), reports the press service of the Rivne Eparchy of the UOC.
According to tradition, participants walked with prayers around the entire village, asking the Lord for peace, love, and strengthening of faith. During the procession, believers read akathists and offered petitions for protection from all evil and for the blessing of the village residents.
"The common prayer united all present in a single aspiration – that the Lord grant peace, well-being, and His grace to every heart and to all our land," the message says.
As reported by the UOJ, a procession to the Derman Monastery took place in the Rivne Eparchy.
