This year’s march takes place amid ongoing political debates over the possible further liberalization of abortion laws in Austria.

Participants gathered at Karlsplatz, where speeches, prayers, and musical performances were held. Afterward, the procession moved through the city’s main streets, with the event scheduled to conclude in the evening.

According to organizers, several thousand people joined the march, including representatives of church and public organizations, families with children, clergy, and volunteers.

As the UOJ previously reported, more than 10,000 Christians took part in a similar anti-abortion march in London.
