On September 10, 2025, a session was held in the Northern Commercial Court of Appeal on the lawsuit of the Kyiv-Pechersk Monastery against the National Reserve concerning the right to use the churches of the Upper Lavra. This was reported on the Telegram channel "Fortress Lavra".

At the beginning of the hearing, the monastery's lawyers filed a motion to postpone the case due to the absence of a representative from the Metropolis. The panel of judges denied this motion.

Additionally, the monastery's legal representatives filed a motion to appeal the complaint of third parties (monks) regarding their involvement in the case. The appeal was closed and left without consideration.

The next court session in the Northern Commercial Court of Appeal (1-a Sholudenko St., Kyiv) is scheduled for October 6 at 16:00.

As reported by the UOJ, the preventive measure for Cherkasy Metropolitan Theodosiy was extended.
