In the village of Mynkivtsi, Rivne region, representatives of the OCU announced a meeting regarding the "transition" of the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos of the UOC into the Dumenko structure, followed by a "service" in the shrine. This is reported on the Telegram channel "Dozor".
The channel writes that local groups are spreading a call to attend the illegal gathering on August 23, 2025, and vote on behalf of the religious community for the "transfer" of the Orthodox parish to the OCU.
According to the journalists, the raiders plan to bring in activists from different villages.
Parishioners of the Church of the Nativity of the Most Holy Theotokos of the UOC published a video in which they report on the preparation of a raider seizure of their shrine and ask for support.
"The legal entity of the former UOC KP/OCU has been registered in the village since 2008. According to reports from the scene, they are registered in a local store. However, local residents say that since then, activists have never gathered for their rituals. Now, people who have no relation to the Church plan to steal the shrine from Orthodox Christians," the message reads.
It also became known to "Dozor" that activists of the OCU are already announcing the "conducting of their rituals" in Mynkivtsi on August 24.
As reported by the UOJ, in Ivankiv, after the seizure, the OCU is trying to ban the UOC community from serving in the house.
