Orthodox Bukovynians participate in youth forum in Romania

From August 18 to 20, 2025, with the blessing of Metropolitan Meletiy of Chernivtsi and Bukovyna and at the invitation of Metropolitan Teofan of Iași of the Romanian Orthodox Church, the youth of the Chernivtsi-Bukovyna Eparchy of the UOC participated in the annual gathering of Orthodox youth in the city of Iași. This was reported by the faithful of the UOC eparchy on their Facebook page.

More than 1500 young Orthodox participants attended the forum.

The Bukovyna youth were accompanied by Archpriest Nikolai Popescu, the rector of the St. Nicholas Church in the village of Chudey, Storozhynets Deanery.

The Chernivtsi Eparchy reports that they felt support throughout the event and prayed together for peace in Ukraine.

As reported by the UOJ, the clergy of the Romanian Church participated in the celebrations of the Krasnoilsk Convent.
