Head of Polish Church congratulates UOC Primate on enthronement anniversary

On the occasion of the eleventh anniversary of the enthronement of the Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, His Beatitude Metropolitan Sawa of Warsaw and All Poland sent congratulations to His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry of Kyiv and All Ukraine. This was reported by the UOC Information and Education Department.
"Your Beatitude, Beloved in the Lord Metropolitan! I congratulate you in the spirit of brotherly love in our Lord Jesus Christ on the 11th anniversary of your enthronement to the throne of the Metropolitans of Kyiv and All Ukraine," wrote the Primate of the Polish Church.
Metropolitan Sawa noted that by God's will, the "cross of the much-suffering Ukrainian Church" has been laid upon the shoulders of His Beatitude Onuphry, which he bears "with humility and prayer".
"I wish you strength and God's blessing in your Archpastoral labors for the benefit of His Holy Church and the Ukrainian Church," the congratulation states.
As reported by the UOJ, the Serbian Patriarch congratulated the Primate of the UOC on the 11th anniversary of his enthronement.
