UOC begins to prayerfully celebrate anniversary of Primate’s enthronement

On August 16, 2025, on the eve of the 10th Sunday after Pentecost and the eleventh anniversary of the enthronement of His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry, Primate of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, a service was celebrated in the main church of the St. Panteleimon Convent in Kyiv (Feofaniya). The news was reported by the Desiatynnyi Monastery.
The solemn All-Night Vigil was officiated by His Beatitude Metropolitan Onuphry.
Concelebrating with the Primate were metropolitans, archbishops, and bishops of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, together with the clergy of the convent and visiting clergy.
During the service, His Beatitude anointed the faithful with holy oil, and the flock congratulated their Primate on the anniversary of his enthronement.
As the UOJ previously reported, His Beatitude also celebrated the Liturgy of the Feast of the Procession of the Precious Wood of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord at the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
