Altar consecrated at church in Kozlynychi, UOC's Volodymyr-Volynskyi Eparchy

On August 2, 2025, a new altar was consecrated in the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in the village of Kozlynychi, Kovel district. The service was led by Metropolitan Volodymyr, according to the UOC Information and Education Department.
On the feast day of the Prophet Elijah, Metropolitan Volodymyr performed the rite of consecration of the altar in the church of Kozlynychi, part of the Vedenske Deanery of the Volodymyr-Volynskyi Eparchy. The archpastor was concelebrated by the local dean, Archpriest Vasyl Serhiychuk, the parish rector, Archpriest Oleksandr Fedchuk, and other clergy of the eparchy.
Following the consecration, the first Divine Liturgy was celebrated. During the fervent supplication, prayers were offered for peace on Ukrainian soil. The service concluded with a festive moleben and the sprinkling of the faithful with holy water.
Earlier, the UOJ reported on the consecration of an altar in the village of Playuts, Khust Eparchy of the UOC.
