In Kropyvnytskyi, near the Dormition Church taken from the UOC and transferred to the OCU, teenagers were singing Russian chanson. This was reported by «Suspilne» with reference to local social media groups.
Regional police spokesperson Vitalina Bevzenko stated that the police are working to identify the teenagers recorded in the video. “In accordance with the law, administrative charges will be filed against their parents for failure to fulfill their parental responsibilities,” she said.
The OCU expressed disappointment with the incident. Local «bishop» Mark assured journalists that he was unaware of the incident and was upset by what happened.
"Such actions cause frustration and regret that our young people are so irresponsible. After all, so many soldiers have given their lives on the front lines for their sake," he said.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that in Kropyvnytskyi, the authorities handed over the Dormition Church of the UOC to the OCU.
