TRC abducts another priest of Ternopil Eparchy

On June 24, 2025, it became known about another priest of the Ternopil Eparchy of the UOC, who was abducted by the TRC. This was reported by the cleric of the eparchy, Archpriest Georgiy Prokopchuk, on his Facebook page.

"The church without service, the flock without a shepherd, the priest at the training ground. We ask for prayers for Fr. Ihor," wrote Father Georgiy.

As reported by the UOJ, earlier in the Ternopil region, the TCC detained the abbot of the Pochaiv Holy Spirit Skete, Archimandrite Paphnutiy, Archpriest Ioann Koval, and Archpriest Georgiy Pryimak.
