On June 15, 2025, at the St. George's Metochion in the city of Rivne (the Rivne Eparchy of the UOC), a prayer service was held before the icon of the Mother of God "The Only Hope of the Desperate" and the relics of the holy martyr Vincent the Warrior following the Divine Liturgy, as reported on the St. George's Metochion Facebook page.
After the prayer service, the faithful proceeded in a procession to the Skete of Righteous Anna. It is noted that holding the procession specifically on the Sunday of All Saints has become a good tradition. However, for the fourth consecutive year, due to the war and existing restrictions, the procession is conducted not on foot, as before, but in the format of a motorcade.
During the prayers, the faithful appealed to God and the Most Holy Theotokos for peace in Ukraine, the cessation of bloodshed and mercy to those who are in despair and have lost their homes. They also prayed for God's blessing for all who help those in need.
Special prayers were offered before the relics of the holy martyr Vincent the Warrior for the Ukrainian military so that through his prayers, the Lord would strengthen their courage, health, and fortitude to defend their native land.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that the Rivne Eparchy began checking UOC parishes for ties with the ROC.
