Pochaiv Seminary holds celebrations on occasion of students' graduation
On June 10, 2025, the Pochaiv Theological Seminary held ceremonial events dedicated to the 32nd graduation of students, reports the UOC press service. 55 graduates received diplomas after the solemn service at the Dormition Cathedral of the Pochaiv Lavra.
The Divine Liturgy at the Dormition Cathedral of the Pochaiv Lavra on the occasion of the graduation from the theological school was led by Metropolitan Sergiy of Ternopil and Kremenets. He was co-served by the abbot of the monastery, Metropolitan Volodymyr of Pochaiv, the rector of the PThS, Archbishop Job of Shumsk, clergy of the Ternopil Eparchy, and the brethren of the Lavra in holy orders.
After the Liturgy, a solemn awarding of diplomas to the graduates of the Pochaiv Theological Seminary took place. This year, 27 full-time graduates and 28 part-time graduates received diplomas.
The Pochaiv Theological Seminary is one of the most important centers of spiritual education of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, preparing future clergy.
Earlier, the UOJ reported that His Beatitude called on the graduates of theological schools to preach with their lives.
